So Saturday was pretty interesting. I ended up crashing in Mallory's (i just murdered her name...) apartment, so we just drove straight to practice.
We won the game 49-35, which was worth the cramped playing space UD afforded us. During the 3rd Quarter, we (the drumline) got to jam out with the UD line under the bleachers. We traded music, and we played particularly well (hmmm...I wonder why). It was very cool. Probably the coolest part was my encounter. When I tried out for Surf in 04 I went alone, and I hung with this kid Gabe the entire 2 camps I went. I hadn't seen him since then, almost 3 years ago. He was in UD's snare line!! I was so stoked, it was INSANE.
Fun times though...Aberdeen TOB = muddy wind tunnel. Oh well.
Sunday I worked with the Towerlight a lot, and ended up seeing The Prestige on my way to go practice. Don't worry, don't worry, I practiced after the movie.
So Surf should be cool, lots of new additions to the staff. I can't wait...but I'm still going to the Cadet's international weekend to get evaluated...and if I just happen to make the line then I guess I won't be at Surf...hmmm.
